Klemen Trupej

I started working with clay in 2015 in Vienna, learning through private lessons and courses. Since 2020, I have been teaching, offering beginner and intermediate classes. I now run my own atelier, where I make my work and hold private lessons and small group courses.

My work is based on minimal, classic pottery forms. I develop my own glazes, often focusing on surfaces with visible movement, and experiment with different textures to create variation across pieces.

I also collaborate with local businesses, including Kramer & Kramer in Vienna.

Alongside the atelier, I work as a UX/UI designer and have a background in cognitive science, with a focus on ethics, particularly virtue ethics.
